Lovely Place! Very nice Get Away! Great bird watching. Love feeding the horse and donkeys. Good Night Sleep. Husband likes having a place close to the Marina. Cheese and crackers on arrival – Nice Treat! We will be back!! This a a Hidden Treasure! Great Place to have prayer time and connect with God.

Loved parking my boat and truck right up front with the security cameras watching them throughout the night. No worries about the security of my boat and equipment. Best place ever!

As a corporate pilot I fly all over the country and stay at many hotels and resorts. This is better than any resort I have stayed at and the girls loved it.

You’ve thought of everything down to the smallest detail. Nice & comfortable place for us while we are in the area for an extended time for business. We booked additional nights.

Much more than expected.

Awesome Thanksgiving experience! Our family had a fantastic time at this cabin. The cabin was fully loaded with all the amenities needed for the week. Lynn the host had a fabulous welcome spread for us at our arrival and had plenty of breakfast food in fridge for the entire stay. We enjoyed close access to the green belts in the area and enjoyed Ray Roberts Park. The cabin was pet-friendly so we got to spend time with our furry babies too. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone. Thanks Lynn for the spectacular hospitality!

Our stay at the Slye ranch cabin was perfect. Lynn had a bottle of wine and a cheese board waiting for us when we checked in. Everything you need is in the cabin it very well stocked. The rescue race horse, Rex, along with the two miniature donkeys were very entertaining and we enjoyed feeding them with treats the owner provided. The outdoor sitting area around the fire pit was really nice. We sat out in the early morning and watched the cardinals and hummingbirds. The beds were very comfortable. We have already rebooked. This is perfect for us since we have a boat slip at Ray Roberts Marina. We hesitate telling anyone about the place because we want it all to ourselves, but we do highly recommend it to all of our friends.

Took my roommate Mary, who is getting married as a way to celebrate her last "single" weekend. We all loved the cabin, the atmosphere, the owners, everything! It was the perfect setting to celebrate a relaxing girl's night. The fire pit was perfect and we loved getting to feed the horse and miniature donkeys with treats. This house literally has everything you can think of so you really don't even have to pack an overnight bag. Lynn was so sweet and accommodating...leaving a bottle of wine for us and some delicious cheese and crackers. We will definitely be back in the future and hope to make this a yearly tradition.

Our stay was amazing. The owners have any and everything you could think of. They are very accommodating and easy to reach. There is a gorgeous friendly horse on the property and a couple of donkeys. After setting up the reservation, we found that there was a misunderstand and our expected nightly rate would be higher. The owners handled this situation quickly and we were able to come to an agreement. I was pleased to know I was dealing with good reasonable people. Also, it's far out in the country, so noise level is not as big of a concern. I could say so much more, but I honestly feel the best way to understand this amazing experience is for you to experience it on your own. My plans are to return back soon.

We felt very welcome at the property. My kids loved feeding the horse and two donkeys carrots that Lynn had left for us. There was a lovely fire pit in the back with marshmallows and hot cocoa for the kids as well. My son and I were able to easily walk down to the entrance of Isle Du Bois State Park for a day of hiking and exploring. Lynn had lots of recommendations for local activities, a fishing report and even hooked us up with horseback riding. A plus for attention to detail and making guests feel welcome!

You are always so thoughtful. I know that you always want to make the best space for your guests! That's what makes your place so special. We all love your cabin and I know that it's because of all the love and care that you put into everything. Your home is perfect the way it is. We are excited to stay here.

We travel all over the country and stay in a lot of houses and cabins and this by far is one of the nicest cabins we have stayed in! The beds had luxurious sheets along with very comfortable beds and pillows. When we arrived, they put out a tray of food, wines, soda, and snacks! No other place that we have been to has gone above and beyond like Lynn did! I would recommend this place to everyone because Lynn will make you feel right at home. This place is not only great for fisherman but for families as well! The property had security cameras, I believe 4 or 5, watching our truck and boat at all times. This made us feel very safe and that our belongings were safe as well. It was also very relaxing with a nice fire pit and chairs to sit around while watching the horse and miniature donkeys. If you are in this area and looking for a cabin to stay in, do not pass this cabin up!!

What a wonderful time from a wonderful host/hostess. We were made to feel at home and very well taken care of. It's obvious Lynn has a passion for hospitality. Within five minutes, Sonia had already asked me to come back:) Thanks for a great time.

We were welcomed upon arrival with a platter full of snacks and a thorough walk through of the cabin. Our family of four were very comfortable and plenty of space to spread out. It was a hot summer day and A/C worked great! Beds were comfortable. Kitchen has anything and everything you need as well as bath needs. Large closet to hold suitcases to get them out of the way. Even had snacks to feed horse and donkeys. Parked our boat right in front to visit a beautiful lake with swimming beach is right down the road. Enjoyed porch sitting and wine in the evening. Our only regret was only booking one night! We felt so welcome. Thank you Lynn!

Our stay here was an exceptional experience. Our host Lynn went well above and beyond in the welcome she provided as well as giving any assistance we needed. The amenities were excellent. The beds very comfortable. The location relaxing. If you are planning to stay in the area, definitely considering staying at this location. You will not be disappointed.
